Guest Post Info

Would you like to write a Guest Post on Nearly Missed It?

  • Please note that my blog is Christian-based, and while not all posts have to be about the Bible, God, church or living a Christian life, they absolutely cannot be against those topics.
  • Some topics to consider: a day in your life, healthy cooking/living, growing up Christian or new to the Christian faith, choosing not to have children (single or married), weight loss surgery or weight loss journey, book reviews, a person/group/organization doing something good for others, mission work or experience, being different, being an introvert. There’s no way I can list them all, so if you don’t see your topic here, please feel free to suggest.
  • I do allow bloggers who are small business owners, but if you choose to mention your business in the post your business must be self-owned and not an affiliate or consultant. An example of a self-owned business is someone who creates and sells jewelry, cards, crafts, etc. Basically something you would find on Etsy. The post content must not be only about your business or blatant advertising. If you are having a product giveaway on your blog, I will post a link to your giveaway if you ask, but the guest post will not be strictly about the giveaway.
  • The link to your guest post will be shared on my Twitter, my Facebook and the Nearly Missed It Facebook page. I ask that you kindly reciprocate sharing the same way to the extent of how you normally share your own blog posts.
  • Including a photo related to the topic is nice but not required. Please credit appropriately if the photo is not yours. I reserve the right to re-size the photo to fit into my blog format.
  • Including a small photo of yourself (no larger than 125 x 125) and a short biography including a link to your blog (and Facebook or Twitter, if you like) to be added at the end of your post would be awesome. I can crop or re-size your photo if it is larger.

  • Please note that my blog is Christian-based, and while I don’t always post about the Bible, God, church or living a Christian life, my posts are absolutely never against those topics.
  • Some topics that I would consider: a day in my life, healthy cooking/living, growing up Christian, choosing not to have children, weight loss surgery or my weight loss journey, book reviews, a person/group/organization doing something good for others that I admire, mission work plans, being an introvert, being different. There’s no way I can list them all, so if you don’t see your topic here, please feel free to ask.
  • I am not a professional writer. I am just a regular person who has been journaling my thoughts since I was a kid and writing in blogs since before they were known as blogs. I have been journaling online since 2002 in a variety of formats and media outlets.
  • I will share the link to your blog of my post on my Twitter, my Facebook and the Nearly Missed It Facebook page. I ask that you kindly reciprocate sharing my post the same way to the extent of how you normally share your own blog posts.

  • I would like to include a small photo of myself (no larger than 125 x 125) and a short biography including a link to my blog at the end of my post.
